Compensation$80000 - $110000 / yr

Key Responsibilities

Interpret print and models, create CNC programs and set up machines to produce the component for Swiss or Milling machine centers
Develop a process that is capable, cost effective and sustainable
Write work instructions and procedures to support the process
Full understanding of G-code
Advocate and implement the highest quality standards and LEAN principles
Assess and communicate technical specifications to all departments
Identify and complete continuous improvement projects

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the design and selection of fixturing and tooling for complex parts
Experience in a precision manufacturing shop environment
LEAN / Six Sigma training and demonstrated application
Experience working within an ISO 13485 environment
Ability to travel between LISI sites as needed

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
Stand, walk, bend, reach, or otherwise move about occasionally
Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 pounds occasionally
Exposed to typical machine shop physical hazards occasionally
Travel by air or car occasionally
