Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to architect, build, and lead development of intuitive user experiences and robust backend systems for our award-winning Cognite Data Fusion® platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive architectural decisions and lead implementation of scalable full stack solutions
- Design and implement elegant APIs, intuitive user experiences, and underlying infrastructure
- Influence strategic product roadmap and technical direction
- Build and maintain large-scale infrastructure and web services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and domain experts
- Work directly with users to understand needs and build products they want to use
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Expert knowledge of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, software design)
- Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages (Kotlin, Java, Python, or Rust)
- Deep expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript with extensive experience in frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar)
- Experience with state management patterns, build tooling (Webpack, Vite), and testing frameworks
- Hands-on experience with large-scale cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to prioritize for maximum impact
- English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading significant projects
- Experience designing and scaling complex full stack architectures
- Background in industrial software, IoT, or large-scale data visualization
- SaaS product environment experience
- Mobile application development experience
