Data Engineer
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in data architecture and analytics, particularly with expertise in Tableau (Tableau Desktop & Tableau Prep Flow). The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions that drive business insights. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to support data analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Utilize Tableau to create interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize Tableau Prep Flow to create/enhance efficient & scalable data pipelines.
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across various data sources.
- Optimize existing data processes and workflows for efficiency and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and visualization.
- Mentor junior data engineers and provide guidance on best practices in data management and visualization.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Tableau Prep Flow & Tableau Desktop for data preparation, data visualization, and dashboard creation.
- Proficient in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Flow, SQL, and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
