The Role
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and integration strategies.
- Develop robust extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes for efficient data movement.
- Analyze existing and future datasets for technical and business functions.
- Collaborate with data owners to deliver solutions that improve decision-making.
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Create data models and optimize structures for analytics and predictive modeling.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of relevant data engineering experience.
- Experience with data storage, analysis tools, and data warehouses.
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages like Python or R.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
