An innovative organisation in the aerospace and defence sector is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle for critical mission-support programs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Automate existing Computing Environment (CE) install and maintenance processes.
- Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to software development.
- Execute and document software research and development projects.
- Translate customer requirements into initial designs of software products and functionalities.
- Debug and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products for systems integrations.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience with Ansible and Linux operating systems.
- Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and hold an active Secret Clearance.
