**Job Summary**
This position functions as a general assist to operations and will be cross trained to operate dry side and Rekers machines, forklift, tumbler, and perform quality control tasks.
**Job Responsibilities**
- Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist in prepping shipment by weighing, wrapping, palletizing and labeling
- Verify production counts on pallets
- Unload inbound freight from trailers at receiving dock
- Complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
- Move trash and metal scrap to outside dumpsters
- Move material to and from machines
- Move production work in process between operations
- Move finished product to warehouse
- Occasional production handwork, as needed
**Job Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to perform basic math skills accurately
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
- Requires often lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, twisting, sitting, standing, climbing, reaching
- Ability to safely climb stairs and ladders while maintaining 3 points of contact at all times
