About the Role

A fast-moving startup in the healthcare technology space is hiring a Founding Engineer to join as one of its earliest technical contributors. This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to directly shape product direction, technical architecture, and customer experience from day one.

You will build essential product features, internal tools, and workflow improvements that directly impact customers and empower internal teams. As a founding engineer, you’ll influence engineering culture, development velocity, and quality standards, while working closely with users to rapidly iterate and ship improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Build core product features that customers rely on daily

• Create internal tools that accelerate operations and improve team efficiency

• Work directly with users, gather feedback, and ship improvements quickly

• Take projects end-to-end—from design and implementation to deployment

• Shape architecture decisions and help define long-term technical strategy

• Move fast while balancing pragmatism with maintainable, high-quality engineering

What We’re Looking For

• Experience at an early-stage startup—or a strong desire to be part of one

• Proven ability to ship features end-to-end in production

• Strong full-stack development skills (React/TypeScript + Python preferred)

• Interest or experience working with LLMs and improving workflows with AI

• Strong technical judgment and the ability to make high-quality trade-offs

• Curiosity, adaptability, and a bias toward action

Bonus Points

• Experience building internal tooling or workflow automation

• Background in operations-heavy or data-centric products

• A track record of delivering user-loved features quickly in lean environments
