Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $190,000 to $270,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger activity, payables, receivables, payroll, and project related accounting.
- Prepare consolidated and entity level financial statements and ensure timely reporting.
- Manage intercompany transactions, cash activity, and coordination across multiple business units.
- Support project and cost tracking activities by reviewing budgets, expenses, and performance.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to leadership to support operational and strategic decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of multi entity accounting and project based financial tracking.
- Previous experience working in industries such as real estate, construction, or similar environments.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools, including advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications
- Certified public accountant credential.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Prior experience working with accounting and project management systems.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
