Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Database Administrator to support our US Mint program. This position will be located in Washington, DC and will be a hybrid remote position.
Responsibilities
- Assist Sr. DBA in design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Oracle and SQL databases.
- Experience in optimizing database performance and security.
- Design, configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle and SQL databases.
- Apply practical skills, training, and experience to ensure database reliability and performance.
Qualifications
High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills And Experience
- Strong understanding of Oracle and SQL database design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Practical skills and training in database administration.
- At least one of the following certifications At least one certification(s) prior to onboarding and the second within six months: Microsoft Certified Azure database Administrator Associates Professional, Oracle Certified Associate.
- Oracle Database Administration Certified
- Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator Associate Professional
Clearance Required: US Citizenship is required to attain and maintain US Mint Public Trust
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Associate degree in a relevant field - preferred.
Posted Salary Range: USD $65,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
