The Role
- Develop and support services deployed on Kubernetes platforms, focusing on deployment, automation, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to technical design, engineering standards, and Agile delivery within a Scrum team.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching engineers, engaging stakeholders, and driving quality-focused delivery.
- Work closely with application teams to deliver and manage services on Kubernetes.
- Support application deployment, management, automation, and pipeline development.
What You'll Need
- Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and containerised application delivery.
- Proficiency with Helm, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling (OpenSearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace).
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience and ability to coach/mentor.
- Experience with microservices design and development and Agile Scrum delivery.
- Knowledge of HMRC Container Platform (HCP) is highly desirable.
