Jack Schaevitz, a pioneer in the early fast food industry, established Health Camp as a beloved local institution known for its commitment to offering the finest frozen custard, ice cream, and burgers. The original restaurant on the Waco Traffic Circle featured a small kitchen with a convenient walk-up window, attracting both Wacoans and travelers between Dallas and Austin.

Today, the restaurant proudly maintains its original charm, serving signature burgers, delectable custard, and homemade onion rings on its iconic stainless steel countertops.
