Working Hours: Rotating Shift - 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights)

About The Role
We are seeking a
Shift Engineer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team in Bromborough. With recent investments in new equipment and greenhouse gas (GHG) initiatives, we are building a strong foundation for the future of the site. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and safety of our manufacturing equipment, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all site assets to a high standard, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Execute planned and reactive maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
- Drive plant reliability through hands-on interventions, improvements, and analysis.
- Apply and communicate robust safe systems of work and risk assessments.
- Deliver on Engineering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support the development of standards for equipment and facilities.
- Manage engineering stock control and ensure accurate system records.
- Coach and train production colleagues to enhance equipment knowledge and performance.
- Promote a culture of professional engineering and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
- BTEC Engineering Certificate or equivalent.
- Broad knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical, Electrical, PLCs, and Inverter Assets.
- Experience in risk assessment and safe maintenance practices.
- Competence in working with high-hazard equipment and safe isolation procedures.
