What You’ll Be Doing
As an Electrical Engineering Apprentice, you will work alongside our skilled engineering team to:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and machinery.
- Support planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Help diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
- Learn how to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Carry out routine inspections and testing under supervision.
- Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
- Develop practical engineering skills while studying towards your apprenticeship qualification.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about engineering and keen to learn.
- Reliable, motivated and eager to develop new skills.
- A good problem solver with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Committed to achieving their apprenticeship qualification.
Qualifications
Ideally, you’ll have:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths, English and Science at Grade 4/C or above (or be predicted to achieve these).
- A genuine interest in electrical engineering or manufacturing.
