Fresh-out-of-the-oven focaccia bread filled with the finest ingredients. Mouthwatering. Quintessentially Italian.
We founded bread&truffle in 2020 with the mission to create a new sandwich culture to spark a revolution in this stale segment. We're all about pushing the limits of what a sandwich can be and bringing Italian cuisine to the forefront of the sandwich revolution.
This is why we started with the decision of making the bread ourselves; operationally, it might seem counter-intuitive, but it is our competitive advantage and also what makes bread&truffle different.
At bread&truffle, we believe in transparency; we want our customers to know exactly what they're eating, where it came from, and how it was made. We are proving on a daily basis the thesis that a large audience is ready to pay a premium for a better sandwich.

Pros: The best part is definitely the team. I've worked with some really cool people who make coming to work enjoyable, and we often help each other out. I learned a lot about different coffee beans and how to make various espresso drinks. The flexibility in scheduling was also a big plus when I needed it.
Cons: While the pay is decent for a bakery or cafe position, it doesn't feel like there's much room for advancement within the company without taking on more responsibility without a significant pay bump. The benefits package is pretty basic, and I wish there were more options for health or retirement.
Advice to Management: Consider creating clearer pathways for career growth for frontline staff and perhaps enhancing the benefits package to better retain experienced employees.
