• Follows up with leads and potential customers to nurture the relationship, answer questions, and gather additional information.
• Collaborates with various internal teams from marketing, sales, and finance to ensure seamless execution of category plans in adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Conducts external market analysis to gather insights about the industry, competitors, and customer preferences to contribute to the development of effective sales strategies.
• Holds responsibility for product line and quota management limited to low complexity and low impact product range or customer segment.
• Collects and analyzes customer feedback and data to understand customer needs, pain points, and improvement areas to enhance future deliverables.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline.
• Participates in training programs and gathers an understanding of product categories, business management, sales strategies, and challenges.

What a College Intern - Category Management, Personal Systems does at HP:

• You will have the opportunity to work on business critical projects which will have significant business impact and contribution for HP in Greater Asia.
• Undergo a comprehensive business orientation, covering many aspects of the business, from pricing, portfolio selection, marketing, all the way to supply chain operations.
• Play a key part in managing business critical projects in partnership and with the guidance of senior staff members. You may be tasked with managing some of these projects on your own.
• Examples of such projects could be working on using AI for predictive data analysis or managing the 4P process. This will accelerate their learning and assimilation into the business as well as make an immediate contribution.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Currently pursuing Degree in data science/analysis or business/marketing related disciplines.
• Prior experience in data analysis would be added advantage.
• Able to commit 5-6 months full time duration.
