The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer with strong experience to join our growing team and contribute to the development that empowers our organization to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Essential skills & Experience:
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with our senior engineers to troubleshoot network issues, optimize network performance, and ensure the security and reliability of our network systems.
Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Help configure and maintain network hardware and software components.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, build servers, setup virtualisation environments and manage security issues.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
Assist in the implementation of network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems with other IT infrastructure.
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed.
Identifying network & server issues e.g.: internet, WIFI, telephony & network connectivity.
Take responsibility for customer communication, escalate as required to management or other teams as appropriate.
Troubleshoot problems for customers, with an ability to logically break down faults, working through to a resolution as quickly as possible whilst maintaining strong and regular communication back to the customer via both tickets and phone.
Ability to both develop and follow processes to always ensure standardized and robust delivery of customer services.
Create and update customer documentation as required.
Follow change management processes and protocols, as well as identifying process improvement opportunities.
Willingness to get involved and do whatever is needed to get the job done, whatever that may be at the time.
Participation in after hours on-call roster if required.
Exemplary communication skills with appetite for change and transformation.
Possess strong skills in planning, project management and attention to detail and has excellent problem solving and evaluative judgement skills.
Communicate and co-ordinate people across geographies and among multiple teams to handle team across offshore and onshore.
Manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines and through various stages of development and approval.
Problem solving - identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and report issues to the management team; demonstrate appropriate risk-taking and comfort with ambiguity.

Candidate Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Network Engineering.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
Familiarity with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network management tools.
Basic understanding of network security principles and practices.
Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
