Roles & Responsibilities

• Working closely with WSH Singapore Market (Corporate level), to develop Certis Aviation Security’s (CAS)
• Workplace Safety and Health System (WSH) and establishing WSH programmes in collaboration with the organisation’s management team and key stakeholders
• Monitor workplace injury count
• Introduce/run existing workplace safety initiatives to promote safety culture
• Lead incident investigations for workplace injuries and accidents
• Support the risk and compliance framework for workplace safety and health
• Develop, review and monitor the risk management activities for CAS
• Conduct site safety inspections and risk assessment reviews regularly
• Plays a strategic role in ensuring alignment between the organisation’s WSH policy and its business and operational concerns
• Collaborates closely with colleagues in all Segments/Divisions within CAS to facilitate effective enforcement of WSH parameters across the organisation, by evaluating current processes and systems, and staying abreast of legislative requirements and industry best practices in WSH.
• Conduct WSH briefings for new hires
• Submission of nominations of safety acts by staff for airport safety awards

Skills and requirements

• Licensed Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with Ministry of Manpower
• Have at least 2 years of work experience relevant to the work to be carried out by a WSHO
• Comfortable working with data, have a good understanding of the methodologies and limitations of statistics, and be able to present salient findings effectively
• Strong policy acumen and good analytical skills
• Highly-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in a team, with the willingness to take initiative
• Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the confidence to meaningfully engage diverse stakeholders

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and examine aircraft components for leaks, cracks, breaks or other issues.
• Read and utilize maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, gaskets, and seals.
• Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of equipment’s and aircraft components.
• Interpret specifications, or diagrams to inform installation, development or operation activities.
• Perform regular inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments and wear
• Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company
• Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns
• Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance
• Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.

Qualification / Expertise / Skills

• Minimum ITE holder or GCE ‘O’ Level or Aerospace Engineering
• At least 5 years of experiences practical and documented aircraft maintenance experience
• Those with experience on any of the following type B737,A320,Fokker 100 & ATR would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Base Maintenance activities would be an added advantage

As a Payroll and Billing Officer, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with established standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Payroll Computation: Execute and verify gross and net pay computations, including salary, overtime, shift payments, tax withholdings, and deductions, to ensure accuracy.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain payroll-specific records to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Reconciliation and Data Verification: Perform reconciliations of payroll records, verify data accuracy, and administer related administrative tasks.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work with end-users and analyze user needs to develop concept, design, test, implementation, debug and commission customized semi and fully automatic machines to improve labor productivity, improve process efficiency, reduce quality defects, improve safety & overcoming repair technical challenges in fast-paced production shops.

• In-depth knowledge experience of customized automated machine design.
• Good knowledge experience using 3D modeling software such as Solidworks, Creo or NX
• Experience in mechanical drafting practices and a working knowledge of terms, rules, and applications of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Good understanding of material selections, machined part fabrication and processes

Providing legal advice and support on Labour and Employment law issues to GE Aerospace in the covered region

The Senior Counsel will provide legal and compliance advice across a wide range of issues, including, for example:

• employee and union relations; restructuring, redundancies and outsourcing;
• equal opportunities and diversity; employment litigation; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures;
• collective bargaining obligations; employee discipline, performance management, grievances and termination;
• drafting of employment separation agreements and workplace policies;

• Substantial legal post-qualification labour and employment experience within Singapore and the covered regions, preferably including time spent both with a leading law firm and in-house with a large multinational corporation, that includes:
• extensive “hands-on” labour & employment legal experience, including international experience; and
• substantial experience and success in working with senior management and international environments;
• experience of labor and employment work on each of M&A activity, litigation, advisory work and training.
