Primary Function

Required Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
• Have at least 7 years of experience within the past 10 years in aircraft maintenance in a similar size operation maintaining aircraft similar to those here at AFRC, with management experience as a supervisor in aircraft maintenance.
• Have held an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification, have held an equivalent military designation, or demonstrate an equivalent level of qualifications and expertise.
• Must be familiar with AS9100 & AS9110 quality requirements.
• Formal technical training or on the job training in DoD Acquisitions and manufacturing procurement experience.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
• Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.

Document, follow, organize and manage all non-conformities throughout the flowline/flightline process. Drive closure of issues in collaboration with all relevant parties to ensure production milestones are met.

Perform inflow analysis (ex Non Conformities, work orders, QLB, TLB...) and new points' distribution. Guarantees that all information in "Aircraft Progress" concerning the FAL are in accordance with the physical state of the subject aircraft.
Responsible for aircraft issue follow-up addressing progress in a proactive manner, anticipating issues, and driving resolution to avoid production risks. Generate the daily MSN Report (folio point's analysis) and highlight priority topics.
Responsible for Working Party planning when necessary to solve major issues on aircraft.
Record information in "Aircraft Progress" and define daily priorities with the Station Managers.
Cooperate in national/international projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Assistant Aircrew Program Manager (AAPM) is responsible for the adequacy of aircrew ground and flight training/testing and standards for specific aircraft of assigned carrier. Work is performed under the general direction of the Principal Operations Inspector (POI), however the position reports to the Operations Unit Supervisor. The AAPM manages programs on assigned aircraft including designated examiners and/or Aircrew Program Designees (APD) and develops a work program to insure periodic surveillance of designated pilot examiners, pilot check airmen, and company training programs. The AAPM assures the assigned air carrier conducts flight crew training and testing required appropriate FARs, FAA-approved training programs, and current testing standards.
