Essential Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally (e.g. Sales, Customer Support, Risk, Product Line, Finance) where financing is needed to support the transaction. The role will carry targets for supporting revenue, mitigating risk and enabling shop visits in the region
- With the support of the sales team – position yourself as a trusted advisor for our airline customer treasury/ financing teams at target airlines in the region
- Network across banks and other financial institutions in the region. In addition, establish relationships with relevant ECAs and DFIs in the region and build the case for supporting GE Aerospace and its customers
- Manage reporting and asset management for transactions in the region that are in GE Aerospace portfolio.
- Provide inputs on specific airline credit risk at regional and global forums. Own the financial analysis of airlines in the region and undertake quarterly assessments of certain select airlines.
- Coach the region team on financing products and developments
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business or similar with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance
- Comfortable with financial statement analysis
- Experiences with taking the lead and closing financing transactions
- Well networked within financial institutions in region
- Self-driven with an ability to cope with ambiguity. The role requires thinking across the gamut of financing solutions; on transactions that may require innovative structuring and/or financial participants
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
Desired Characteristics:
- Ability to influence without authority and work collaboratively with distributed teams to deliver tangible outcomes
- Knowledge of aviation financing is not essential. However, experience with financing of large ticket/ large asset/ industrial sectors is desirable
