About the role
As Capital Project Manager, you will utilise your specialist knoweldge to add value whilst leading complex capital works which focus on infrastructure improvement or aimed at the maintenance, conservation and repair of buildings and landscapes.
You will the manage delivery of multiple projects concurrently, across various project phases - including budgets, quality and programme deliverables - potentially across the four Northern museums. You will also ensure that projects meet all relevant statutory requirements and are fully compliant with all corporate policies and procedures.
Whilst based at our York site on a hyrbid basis, you will occasionally work across all our Northern museum sites in Manchester, Bradford & Shildon. Your role will be broad ranging, pivotal and influential - with the opportunity to make your mark in a museum environment, working behind the scenes on exciting transformation projects.

About you
You will bring experience of full life-cycle project management within a construction, property, building services or infrastructure environment. With strong influencing and relationship management, you have the ability to identify risks, advocate for high standards and challenge decision making where necessary.
You will hold working knowledge of current legislation and regulations covering building works, including CDM Regulations 2015 and ideally can follow RIBA plan of work. You'll also understand the challenging environment and competing priorities these can present.
By anticipating contingencies and proactively solving them, you can ensure projects are delivered on time, budget and to brief whilst managing various stakeholder viewpoints and setting realistic expectations.

Manages and supports actuarial function in valuing reserves for the mortgage insurance product line
Applies traditional actuarial reserving techniques to assess reserves and conduct reviews of loss results, past and current trends to project future losses
Lead, coach, and develop a small team of high performing actuaries. Work with each team member to deliver high quality work within their core responsibilities, continually learn about our business and industry, and expand beyond the scope of their current roles
Develops internal and external communications, including interactions with regulatory authorities and management that will describe and support reserve changes
Supports the development/design of new models for reserving and forecasting purposes
Displays proficient ability to analyze SAS datasets and modeling results and test for possible data biases and errors

Incorporates and shares best practices regarding reserving models, techniques, and research with other functions within Enact

WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
7+ years in finance, risk, or actuarial functions, mostly focused on reserving.

Strong planning, vision setting, and organizational skills with an ability to outline initiatives and develop priorities in support of that vision.

About the role
Focusing on Trusts, Foundations & Government (TFG) funders, you will support team to raise multi-million-pound income. Managing a portfolio of TFG funder accounts, you will work toward delivering long term, high-value strategic partnerships and significant renewals. You'll provide effective account management and tailored stewardship, whilst developing your own portfolio of new business prospects.
Collaborating with other Development colleagues and key project teams, you will identify opportunities to support or enhance your diverse portfolio. You will also assist the team by being organised and accurate, ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting.

About the role
We are looking for a Head of Finance Systems, Data and Reporting who can take responsibility for our financial data, reporting and analytics. The primary aim of the role is to improve the usefulness and accessibility of our financial data for our business stakeholders across both our core operations and our projects.
You will mainly work with our finance system, CI Anywhere by Technology One, but you will also be able to utilise data from our CRM, ticketing, retail and payroll systems (Tessitura, Futura and MHR iTrent) and to use Microsoft PowerBI for additional data visualisation where appropriate.
We have a mandate for improvement and it will be part of your role to manage a development roadmap, prioritising initiatives that will make the greatest difference to the business. Some of the priority areas for improvement are around accessibility of financial information, development of predictive forecasting and utilisation of other datasets, e.g. on visitors, retail activities and workforce.
Our core finance data is well structured and controlled, and you will have responsibility for maintaining data access policies and procedures, managing the chart of accounts to facilitate reporting, and running regular processes for reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Your team will oversee the production of management information for staff at different levels of the organisation, from the management accounts presented to the Board of Trustees to the status reporting for individual project and cost centre managers.
You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with Executive Directors as senior customers for our improvements and to develop training courses to ensure a high quality user experience.
The role may be based in London, Manchester or York, and will require on site work at least two days a week. There may also be occasional travel to other sites in the group.

Our Individual & Visitor Giving Team raises vital income by inspiring our museum and online visitors to support our mission.
About the role
This position is internally known as Indivdual Giving Manager - Whilst there won't be any line management responsibilities tied to this position, you will be responsible for growing and developing income generation online (through donations on free ticket bookings, ticket top up donations and website donations) as well as scoping and developing new channels of low level giving (e.g. low level regular giving, one off campaigns to subscribers etc).
This involves project managing the development of new low-level giving products (such as Adopt an Object and our upcoming public campaign for V2025 at the National Railway Museum). You will also be developing our legacy offer, ensuring legacy pledgers and their families are stewarded appropriately and that legacies are properly administered.
Collaborating with other visitor revenue generating teams, you will prioritise an outstanding visitor journey that deepens engagement whilst prioritising profit.
Using our CRM system, you will be deep in the data, tracking various metrics to help us raise more money and deepen loyalty with our audiences by giving them a great supporter experience.
From co-ordinating meetings, developing agendas and keeping projects on track, to copy-writing and data analysis. Add to that working across five museums, means that no two days will be the same. This will be a varied and rewarding role with lots to of potential for you to develop your skills in low-level fundraising.
We can offer a hybrid working pattern, with flexibility for the role to be based at either our London, Manchester or York museums, whilst retaining a Group-wide remit.
