The ideal candidate will possess proven industry experience in water infrastructure. Civil/Plumbing experience will be advantageous. This dynamic role will include on-site water quality testing at customers' residences, executing street/block flush activities where necessary and conducting spoil sampling with occasional reporting duties where required.

2 x QC Analysts required, based in Teesside on a permanent basis. Requiring proven industrial experience of analytical chemistry including HPLC or GC.

Title: 2 x QC Analysts

Location: Teesside

Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience)

SRG are working with an international company who specialise in the creation of speciality chemicals for a range of markets. They are now looking to add 2 QC Analysts to their analytical team on a full-time basis at their site in Teesside. These permanent roles will be supporting a recent increased workload and sample volumes, and will primarily involve analysing finished product samples using a range of techniques including HPLC and GC. Candidates that have proven industrial experience of these techniques in a busy, fast-paced laboratory setting are encouraged to apply. GMP is desirable but not essential for this position.

Benefits: 28 days holiday plus bank holidays. Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (with flexibility).

Role / Description

• Perform QC analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished product samples in support of production using a range of techniques including HPLC and GC.
• Provide results and data to maintain QC records in accordance with site requirements.
• Carry out calibration of equipment and method development of techniques and maintenance of calibration records to the appropriate standard.
• Communicate internally in a timely manner to appropriate departments.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of reagents and consumables

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry (or similar)
• Proven industrial experience of analysisincludingHPLCorGC in a busy, fast-paced laboratory setting
  • GMP experience is desirable but not essential
• Positive, pro-active attitude
• Team player work a strong work ethic

Tasmanian Quality Meats is seeking Skilled Meat Workers to join our team at our Cressy Plant. These positions will be on a permanent, full time basis, 38 hours a week. Applicants must have experience in knife handling and skillsets to suit a variety of slaughtering and lamb boning tasks across our business.

Responsibilities
Eviscerates and trims animal carcasses;
Prepare animal carcasses for further processing by removing internal organs and hides;
Cuts meat to separate meat, fat and tissue from around bones;
Trimming and preparing animal carcasses for the boning room;
Operate switching controls to direct and drop carcasses and meat cuts from supply rails to boning tables;
Operates restrainer and stunning equipment
Stuns and kills livestock;
Slaughter according to religious customs.

Criteria
Good communication and positive teamwork
Ability to work in a cold environment
2 years experience, a minimum
Great attendance, reliability to work
Excellent knife skills and knife handling
Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test.
Transport to and from work required.

We have several positions available throughout our production facility, and the remuneration for these roles will be between $60,000 - $70,000 per annum. We are looking for candidates for immediate starts.

Tasmanian Quality Meats is a northern Tasmanian family owned business, that operates a modern sheep and lamb processing facility in Cressy. We have been in the industry for over 20 years, and have recently made significant upgrades to our production areas and also our office facilities. The growth in the business will cement a long term career for the right people who join our team.

Tasmanian Quality Meats have many positions available that will be responsible for various labouring positions around our boning room, slaughter floor and offal rooms. These positions will involve packing meat into bags or boxes, basic knife duties, pushing carcasses through chillers, packing and stacking of boxes into chillers and freezers, operating basic equipment and other various tasks around the site as required.

This positions available are on a permanent full time basis and are required as we have finalised our factory upgrades and increase our production accordingly. The salary range will be $44,203 - $52,897 ($22.38 - $26.77) depending on different level of positions. They may be opportunity to earn more with overtime and as you progress into senior positions. There will be training provided for all our roles, and opportunity for career progression as you become experienced within the meat industry.

These positions will require a good level of fitness and strength, literacy and numeracy skills, being able to work within a team environment, and own reliable transport. To be offered a position you will need to participate in a medical assessment and have full working rights within Australia. We are looking for candidates who can start immediately.
