Days: To be negotiated - This is a three shift rota, including nights. With extra hours available. 1 Female Personal Assistant (PA) is required for a Lady in the HU3 area of Hull. Suitable for people who live locally.
This role is to cover for the current PA while on maternity leave. This is for a minimum 7 months expected, possibilities of extended cover or permanent employment.
The PAs will be required to support this lady with all her care needs. This will include bathing and dressing her. This PA will support the main PA and will be asked to cover sick and holidays.
The lady has a severe cognitive impairment and she can become distressed, frustrated and agitated, sometimes tearful.
She needs full support with all aspects of medication management and for all aspects of personal care. She needs full support with meal preparation and fluid intake.
There are aides and adaptations; any necessary training will be provided.
The ladies husband works a rotating shift pattern so the PA will need to be flexible at times. More details on interview.
