The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, an exciting opportunity has emerged for a driven Supply Chain (SC) Program Lead. In this role, the incumbent will oversee a dedicated team, managing all aspects of obligations and responsibilities within complex contracts aligned with the company's strategic objectives. The SC Program Lead will collaborate closely with the leadership team to devise strategies and solutions aimed at delivering program outcomes efficiently. This pivotal position requires a proactive approach to leadership, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of program activities while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team to complete activities including investment case proposals, targeted tasks, indigenous engagements, industry engagement, and capability gap analysis within schedule and budget
Engage external stakeholders to ensure alignment on matters both present and future
Proactively engage with Supply Chain leads to ensure contribution and alignment on the overarching enterprise strategy
Ensure all relevant stakeholders have Control Account Management
Arrange, resource, and oversee all relevant reviews and approvals
Work with the Head of Supply Chain to strategically plan and optimise achievable outcomes
Contribute to the communications strategy, ensuring it is consistent and supportive
Prepare and deliver reports including progress against KPIs and related activities
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated extensive experience in navigating complex, matrix organisational structures.
Possession of a tertiary qualification in a pertinent field such as supply chain, procurement, project management, or engineering.
Proven track record in effectively managing and leading diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
Hands-on experience in bid management processes.
Exceptional ability to cultivate robust working relationships within project environments, including with major suppliers.
Proficiency in balancing and prioritising conflicting demands effectively.
Experience in senior leadership communication, demonstrating strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Possession of Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1 clearance Eligibility to obtain clearance for compliance with International Traffic In Arms Regulations
