To address this challenge, IT has established a five Tech Centers model in Austin, Rahway, West Point, Singapore, and Prague to provide a follow-the-sun operational model leveraging networked teams that can better support the business, the patients and make the crosswork between different departments and regions more agile.
We are seeking a Network Project Manager to join our team. This position is part of the Network Availability Product Line, consisting of cross products Networking professionals and the managed NOC. This position will work on initiatives across Network Reliability Engineering & Global Availability Product teams and will be responsible for delivering Network initiatives related but not limited to continuous service improvement, vulnerability rememdiation and long term remediation globally. Broad knowledge across numerous networking products is required as well as experience in partnering with global teams in worldwide deployments and support. The successful candidate must be able to learn new technologies and processes quickly while partnering with Network SMEs and peers across numerous technical and business disciplines. The individual will engage and communicate with all levels of management.
What you should do:
- Provide Network Planning and Program Management, with focused on but not limited to initiatives around continuous service improvement, vulnerability rememdiation and long term remediation across Global Network landscape
- Lead global implementations and partner with global teams delivering complex sustainment initiatives
- Act as a thought leader, innovator, and agent of change to influence and drive implementation strategies and proactively share knowledge with team members
- Support multiple Product Teams utilizing Kanban/Agile Scrum methodologies
- Ensures team maintains focus on quality and continuous delivery
- Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress while managing a financial budget
- Proactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)
- Understands product and provides visibility into team progress towards commitments and outcomes as well as proactively address questions
- Effectively develops and facilitates team and program events through clear and concise communications.
How we see an ideal candidate:
- At least 6 years experience in delivering network projects or solutions for a large company with 10,000 employees or more with global coverage
- Excellent Leadership Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem solving and influencing skills
- Experience with agile methodology and planning tools such as Jira, Jira Align and Confluence
- Understanding of service management & best practices (Example ITIL) – Incident, Problem, Change
- Understanding of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Remedy
- Understanding of collaboration services will be ideal (Voice, Video, Web Conferencing & Web Casting)
- The selected candidate will have excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, and
- able to set priorities according to business needs with minimal oversight.
