About Team
Salesforce is continuing to make strategic investments in Industry verticals. The Industry Sales team plays a critical role in focusing those investments to drive growth at customers within the industry. About Role
We are looking for a self-starter who is familiar with the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform. The ideal candidates are likely to have one of the following:
The Industry Sales Consultant will partner with their sales team counterparts in helping plan, implement and grow the Manufacturing and Life Sciences accounts they are supporting. They will serve as an expert on the micro-vertical play content and partner with sales teams and will prioritize, plan and coordinate the Manufacturing and Life Sciences industry sales plays across a variety of cross functional roles. This role is a mix of sales, strategy, program execution, planning and enablement. They should be comfortable with a fast-paced, high growth environment and be able to shape and share Salesforce’s Manufacturing and Life Sciences point of view in both client-facing and internal settings.

Is responsible for maintaining a privileged user level of access across numerous high priority systems
Communicates via daily interface with Government and partner country senior leadership, system operators, and engineers at site and across the enterprise
Interprets system documentation and records problems in logging and discrepancy reporting tools
Collects data describing the environment at the time of a failure
Serves as a single point of contact for monitoring, troubleshooting, and anomaly resolution
Performs routine software functions, as required
Escalates problems to Tier 2 level, as required, and performs call-ins, as necessary
Coordinates with any required resources across the enterprise to resolve operational issues
Works with other 24x7 engineering crews across multiple locations, providing enterprise level maintenance support with high Customer visibility into all actions and responses
Provides necessary mentorship, guidance, and training to entry level engineering crew
Required Qualifications:
A current DODI 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification – Security+ Certification
An Active TS/SCI Polygraph Clearance and Background Investigation adjudicated within the past 4 years
Associate of Arts Degree in a related technical discipline and related knowledge or ability to troubleshoot operational systems supported by this Program OR possesses an equivalent 3-5 years direct experience in lieu of a degree
A broad knowledge of high priority systems across a multi-location enterprise
Good communication skills in order for the effective and accurate exchange of information across a multi-location enterprise, with Customer visibility into crew-based actions and responses
workability to work a non-standard work week, weekends, and holidays; Shift work - 12 hour shifts (2 day shifts followed by 2 mid shifts then 4 days off)
Desired Qualifications:
System administration experience, to include UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms
