Job Summary:
The Area Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the success of our TiffinLabs’ operational efficiency and profitability across our markets. The individual in this position will manage multiple store operations, ensuring that they meet the company's standards for quality, service, and regulatory compliance. They are responsible for leading their teams to achieve top-line sales growth and optimising bottom-line profitability while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Role & Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple outlets within the assigned, ensuring that all locations comply with brand standards for food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
Develop and implement strategies for sales growth, cost reduction, and profitability enhancement.
Conduct regular site visits to assess operational practices, staff performance, and customer satisfaction; provide feedback and direction to restaurant managers.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to hire, train, and retain high-quality staff; foster a positive working environment that encourages team unity and exceptional performance.
Analyse sales data and financial reports, identifying trends, and setting or redefining performance goals and operational strategies accordingly.
Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as legal requirements pertinent to the foodservice industry.
Coordinate with the marketing department to support promotional events and product launches that drive customer engagement and revenue.
Handle customer and employee grievances, resolving issues promptly and maintaining the brand’s reputation.
Collaborate with senior management in strategic planning, resource allocation, and long-term operational strategy.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a proven track record of managing multiple units.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial analysis, and budgeting.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve performance goals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
Proficiency in using MS Office (especially Excel) and restaurant management software.
Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability in fast-paced environments.
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the foodservice sector.
A strong business acumen paired with a passion for the culinary industry.
