Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and supervise audit engagements for financial services clients, focusing on banking and capital markets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
2. Manage audit portfolio engagements, including budgeting, resource allocation, billing, and progress monitoring.
3. Foster and maintain client relationships, ensuring a positive client experience on engagements.
4. Develop and mentor a professional audit team, enhancing performance through regular feedback and engagement in value-added services.
5. Stay informed about accounting trends, technical issues, and industry developments relevant to clients’ industries.
6. Identify potential industry-specific risks and compliance requirements, keeping up-to-date with auditing standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, CA (Singapore) or equivalent preferred.
• At least 5 years of audit experience. Assistant Audit Managers may also be considered.
• Experience in auditing within banking, capital markets, payments, or fintech is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, auditing standards, and accounting principles.
• Excellent project and time management skills, adaptable to changing demands.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, able to engage effectively at all levels

Role Overview:

As Manager, Audit Valuation), you will oversee a range of engagements to deliver superior audit services. Your role involves leading audit projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines. You will be responsible for the overall success of each audit engagement and committed to fostering long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer guidance to the audit team in evaluating working papers, focusing on the accuracy of asset/liability values measured at fair value or recoverable amounts, aligned with financial reporting standards.
• Capable of performing or receiving training to assess the fair value or recoverable worth of businesses, intellectual property, financial instruments, etc.
• Assist the audit team in articulating the rationale behind valuation conclusions clearly and effectively as required.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance auditors' skills and knowledge.
• Participate in additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

• A degree in Accountancy, ideally with a recognised professional accreditation.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international accounting firm.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration at all organizational levels.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, audit standards, and accounting principles.
• Demonstrates a proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
