- Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, including cutting, assembly, finishing, and quality control is an added advantage.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to train and mentor production floor staff to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production issues and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety protocols on the production floor.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production targets within set timelines and budgets.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining product quality and meeting customer expectations.
- lexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and requirements.
Job Description
- Supervise and oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to production floor staff, coordinate workflow, and monitor progress to meet production targets and deadlines
- Train, mentor, and develop production floor staff to ensure efficient and skilled workforce.
- Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials to avoid shortages.
- Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of equipment and machinery, promptly addressing any breakdowns or malfunctions.
- Enforce health and safety regulations and protocols to create a safe work environment and minimize accidents or hazards.
- Prepare and submit reports on production performance, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement to the management team.
