As a Research analyst, you will have an opportunity to study and build expertise across all FMCG / Corporate industries that range from daily household necessities, latest developments in consumer electronics, beauty and personal care, food, drinks and retail banking services. As you continue to build your expertise in various consumer trends research, you will have an opportunity to select your areas of industry expertise, project or people management and work with respective heads of industries and wider global teams to further research agenda, excel in Passport analytics tools such as Industry Forecast Model, strengthen client relationship, and provide country/regional/global strategic analysis through Passport content and PR work. We are currently expanding our research capabilities in Bangalore to address growing global demand for custom research solutions. To this end we are setting up a unit that will become our Analytical Centre of Excellence, and which will focus on a) working with our global Consulting teams on large and complex projects, and b) develop and deliver its own range of products.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business, competitive intelligence, consulting, or market research. He/she will possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English and strong analytical, numerical and data manipulation skills. We are looking for motivated self-starters looking to become internal industry or solution experts within our Consulting team and Euromonitor. You will be required to conduct primary and secondary research on industry and company sources; review, query and consolidate research materials from in-country researchers; and prepare complex data sets in Excel and management reports in PowerPoint.
Background in statistics, computer science, applied mathematics or similar field is a key advantage. We are looking for individuals who have interest in innovative ways of data visualization, cleansing data, data science, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence.
