Responsibilities:

• Manage Low Voltage Electrical system / work related to Building Services such as access control and closed-circuit television (CCTV) monitoring, fence intrusion detection system (FIDS), gate barrier, roller shutters, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, lighting systems, building drainage system, building lightning protection systems, electric vehicle chargers including troubleshooting, root cause identification and servicing etc
• Implement quality standards and procedures for preventive and corrective electrical & instrumentation building services maintenance works
• Review safety reports on compliance and non-compliance with regulatory and organizational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and practices
• Annual planning, preparing budgets for all electrical & instrumentation system / maintenance and service contracts; monitor and control budget under Facilities Management
• Provide quality of training; lead, manage and supervise team members under his/her charge
• Contractors’ management, supervision and control
• Maintain Quality Documentation and Control to ensure high quality of work through procedure control compliance, continuous gaps identification, development of work control procedure and follow up for implementation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Power/Technology or related discipline)
• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Power/Technology or related discipline) with a minimum of 10 years of experience will be considered
• Five (5) years of engineering experience in Facilities Management and Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance aspects: in facilities management services / security system such as electrical / water supply, lift, air-conditioning, pumps, security etc.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing the 3-year maintenance plan and consulted with the Maintenance Manager, Planner Maintenance and Supervisor Maintenance to get their input.
• Responsible for identifying whether an asset requires preventive maintenance, based on risk assessments & asset criticality review, regulatory & statutory requirements, standards, maintenance policies and analysis of the maintenance history.
• Responsible for establishing which default activities, standard procedures and required tools are needed as part of the preventive maintenance Work orders and consult with the Planner to get his input on the scope of work and default activities.
• Execute the Capex projects
• Identify Capex required based on business or sustainability needs of the terminal
• Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and / or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in Chemical/Petrochemical Plant
• Piping Experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to lead and manage team to ensure all Mechanical and E&I maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s HSEQ Standards, statutory requirements, Company Maintenance & Management System and best industry maintenance practices.
• Ensure that industry best practices and relevant maintenance strategies are applied to the activities for maintenance and modifications in the plant so as to achieve reliability and availability of plant equipment of the highest level.
• Responsible for the management of annual Project and Maintenance activities and budgets (both Mechanical and E&I) throughout fiscal year to achieve department goals.
• Ensuring that there are adequate procedures and systems put in place for maintenance activities conducted within the process plant
• Ensure safety of all plant equipment is maintained to avoid lost time accidents, with immediate response and thorough investigations and corrective actions for all hazardous occurrences and accidents.
• Oversee all facilities planning and functions including the maintenance, modification control of equipment, space allocation, move and construction.
• Works with counterparts in parent and subsidiary companies on technology transfers to raise maintenance performance standards.
• Planning and managing the shutdown maintenance.
• Approval of all work requests for equipment maintenance and modifications related to improvements and safety of process and plant, requisition for new equipment and maintenance spares.
• Approval of the daily maintenance activities and modifications in the plant, Contractors’ daily timesheets.
• Approval of grade change maintenance activities, in consultation with production department
• Assessment and review of in-house contractors’ performance and the contract.
• Undertakes special assignments or projects as directed by the Plant Manager.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Min 7 years of experiences in the chemical industry dealing with maintenance of mechanical rotating equipment and static facilities.
• Min 3 years of experience in managing a maintenance team.
• Experiences as E&I Process/Maintenance Engineer at chemical plant or manufacturing facility.
• Possess knowledge on high voltage power supply/MCC, control panel and/or DCS design and system to manage establishment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with different level of stakeholders in the company.
