We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience managing data engineering jobs in big data environment e.g., Cloudera Data Platform. Overall experience can be 5 to 10 years. Consultant/ Senior Consultant preferably. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data ingestion and processing jobs as per business requirements. Tech Architecture & Engineering Unit
Sitting within Data & Technology Architecture department, ICT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible:
· Implement projects within their emplaced practice to ensure service delivery and support to meet the intended availability, continuity, and capacity requirements.

As we are covering the bank’s global operations, you will work in rotational shifts** and also be occasionally doing on-call support*** during non-business hours. This will be an opportunity to have a better perspective of what can be further improved in production!
**On call support: This covers 7 consecutive days during non-business hours to manage escalated incidents and to work on planned changes, weekend included.
***Rotational shifts: Members in the team will rotate accordingly around 3 shifts (time will shift to an hour later during the daylight saving time period in the year).
