Responsible on every day financial activities including review, monitor and/or preparation periodic financial and management reporting, audited reports, budgeting/feasibility, taxation matters, Internal controls and processes, staff management (including on the job training) and department administration.
Provide advice and guidance to management to make sound business decision and meet the company’s objectives.
Provide timely periodic financial & management reports under your Job Scope with sound accounting principles and complies Company Minimum Acceptable Control (“MAC”), financial policies & procedures, delegation of authority (“DOA”), Financial Reporting Standards (“FRS’), Companies Act, Income Tax Act, Goods & Services Tax Act (GST)and any other regulations and legislations.
Review management report (including Sales, Expenses and Stock report), audited financial statement, tax/GST returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement and cash flow statement.
Develop trends and projections for the company’s projects feasibilities, analysis and budgeting.
Review and monitoring cash flow to meet the business needs, and maximize the interest income for any excess funds. Continue to improve the cash management.
Liaise with auditors, tax consultant or any other professional consultant to ensure appropriate monitoring of company accounts/taxes/finances is maintained.
Correspond with various other departments and business head, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Candidate must have professional qualification in Accountancy (ACCA, MIA, CPA or etc.)
At least 10-15 years of relevant working experience preferably with 5 years in senior managerial position
