We are seeking a highly motivated SolarWinds/Network Monitoring Engineer to support the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise monitoring, observability, patch management, and log management platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining monitoring tools, supporting infrastructure operations, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring& Tool Administration

• Perform day-to-day administration and maintenance of enterprise monitoring and management platforms, including SolarWinds and BMC solutions.
• Monitor system performance, availability, connectivity, and data integrity across the monitoring environment.
• Conduct regular health checks and ensure optimal performance of monitoring infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain monitoring policies, thresholds, alerts, notifications, and automated actions.

Platform Maintenance & Upgrades

• Plan, coordinate, and execute periodic platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Perform post-maintenance validation and functionality testing following monthly server patching activities.
• Support monthly automated patch deployment activities across customer environments.
• Ensure monitoring platforms remain compliant with security and operational standards.

Incident& Problem Management

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues affecting monitoring platforms.
• Collaborate with internal infrastructure, network, database, and security teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Escalate issues to vendors where required and manage incidents through to successful resolution.
• Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for critical incidents and service disruptions.

Security& Compliance

• Work closely with Security teams to remediate vulnerabilities identified within monitoring and management tools.
• Support security audits, compliance reviews, and vulnerability management activities.
• Ensure monitoring systems comply with organizational security policies and operational requirements.

System Integration & Reporting

• Collaborate with Server, Network, Database, and Application teams to onboard and configure devices, applications, and services into monitoring platforms.
• Configure monitoring solutions for infrastructure, applications, and network devices.
• Design and develop custom dashboards, reports, and analytics based on operational and business requirements.
• Create customized log management reports to support security monitoring and compliance initiatives.

Automation& Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to automate operational processes and improve monitoring efficiency.
• Enhance monitoring coverage, alert quality, and operational visibility across enterprise environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge management, and operational best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Infrastructure Monitoring, Network Operations, Systems Administration, or related technical support roles.
• Hands-on experience administering SolarWinds and/or BMC monitoring solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting mission-critical monitoring and management platforms.
• Experience in handling SolarWinds, BMC Monitoring Solutions or Log Management and Patch Management Platforms.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Switching, and Firewall concepts.
• Experience monitoring network devices and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with SNMP, Syslog, WMI, NetFlow, and related monitoring protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP)
• ITIL V3/V4 Foundation Certification
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government environments

JobSummary:

We areseeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide day-to-day operationalmanagement, administration, and support. The engineer will handle networktroubleshooting, configuration, documentation, and change management whileensuring network reliability and performance.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers).
• Perform firmware/software upgrades, patching, and vulnerability fixes.
• Configure VLANs, firewall rules, DNS entries, proxy whitelisting, and other network parameters.
• Conduct network backups, recovery, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Liaise with ISPs and service providers for operational issues.
• Support IoT and smart devices (CCTV, Smart TV, TouchWall panels, lighting controls).
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation (diagrams, topologies, configurations).
• Manage network change requests with proper planning, testing, and minimal user disruption.
• Analyze network performance and recommend improvements.

RequiredQualifications & Experience:

• CCNA or CCNP certified (Active certification)
• experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco wireless APs and controllers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Layer 1–3 network issues.
• Experience with network management tools and packet sniffers (e.g., Wireshark).
• Knowledge of disaster recovery procedures.
