Job Scope

• Relationship Managers are high-level professionals who manage an affluent customer’s wealth holistically.
• Directly responsible for interfacing and engaging with clients on a day-to-day basis with the objective to grow and protect the clients’ wealth for the enjoyment of their successors and their heirs with consultative process
• Relationship Managers gather information about the client’s needs & wants, then tailor a personalized strategy that uses a range of financial products and services.
• Customize investment strategies to address each client’s unique circumstances as well as specific preferences for income, liquidity, and risk.
• Where appropriate, they pursue cross-border investment opportunities to enhance returns and provide additional diversification.
• Relationship Manager (RM) is expected to achieve the annual business targets on business development, relationship management and customer profile balances based on more complex investment requirements while ensuring accurate and timely completion of the entire sales and compliance process.

Job Description

The Relationship Manager is primarily responsible for achieving business targets through the following:

1. Acquisition of new high net worth customers
2. Generation of additional volume from existing customers across sales channels
3. Development and engagement of strong relationships with assigned customers
4. Delivery of excellent customer service through investment products and service offerings
5. Trust Advisory Referrals

A. Business Development

1. Achieves business targets on acquiring, on-boarding and deepening of Mass affluent customers.
1.1. Identifies and promotes a robust pipeline of prospective customers.
1.2. Sets appointments proactively and meets with customers to establish their needs & requirements.
1.3. Pursues marketing and solicitation of investible funds from existing and new accounts.
1.4. Develops proposals in accordance with the requirements of each account, in line with the client’s objective
and needs relative to yield safety, liquidity and diversification.
1.5. Submits proposals and ensures follow-ups in a timely manner including preparation of call reports to apprise
management of the account status.
1.6 Conducts client presentations.
1,7 Networks with customers in order to create new business contacts.

2. Liaises proactively with branch partners for referrals and cross-sell opportunities.
3. Develops and deepens relationships with assigned customers.
4. Engages support of specialists to provide technical advice to customers when necessary.
5. Analyzes trends in the market as well as customer profiles to identify potential opportunities for the
organization.

B. Client Relationship Management

1. Monitors customers’ accounts and portfolios providing proactive, timely, relevant market updates and advice
through regular calls and meetings, thus building long-term relationships.
2. Seeks to establish and understand customers’ real needs and expectations.
3. Executes sales and investment strategies/activities effectively.
4. Maximizes each client or branch interaction by building on customer cues to gain commitment to products,
services, and solutions.
5. Builds and develops relationships with customers –e.g., accompanying them at social/lifestyle events.
6. Reviews accounts regularly to ensure the growth of the aggregate fund level.

Job Summary:

As an International Private Bank, UHNW Banker Associate in J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, you are responsible for providing support to a Senior Banker for SEA with a focus in Indonesia market in all facets of managing their books of business. You will play a key role assisting a Senior Banker in new client acquisitions and retention through a broad knowledge of investments, banking, trust services and financial planning. Your primary goal is to enhance client experience and assist our Senior Banker in delivering exceptional wealth management solutions to clients.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide leverage to Senior Banker for SEA with a focus in Indonesia market on daily client priorities including maintaining client relationships, answering clients’ enquiries, day-to-day account operations.

2. Support Senior Banker during the sales process and ongoing client management, which includes reviewing and building pitch books, coordinating information, communicating with clients and executing on client needs.

3. Support Senior Banker on client hierarchy and pipeline management.

4. Assist Senior Banker in the sale of investments, banking and trust services including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products, and identification of wealth planning opportunities

5. Work in close partnership with Investor in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions for clients; as well as in identifying new business opportunities alongside with Senior Bankers.

6. Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks.

7. Assist senior bankers in preparing presentations and proposals, and send out various promotion items to clients on request.

8. Keep track of Clients, AUMs and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance.

9. Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, operational, and due diligence requirements.

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities:

1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

2. Minimum 4 years of experience in Private Banking, with proven track record in managing UHNW clients.

3. Strong knowledge of Wealth Management business in SEA market, well versed across all asset classes, and deep understanding on Compliance, Risk and Regulatory frameworks.

4. Experience in managing relationships with both clients and internal partners across multiple countries and regions to drive our sales agenda.

5. Dynamic team player who is self-motivated and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to drive our sales agenda and operate with strong sense of urgency.

6. Candidates must have a willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities:

1. Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred.

2. If you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2. This is in order to be registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.

3. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is preferred as there will be frequent interactions with clients and stakeholders from Indonesia.
