To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or similar. MBA or other relevant postgraduate degree is advantageous, especially to underscore business management capabilities.
• Relevant certifications (cloud architecture, data science, project management) or evidence of ongoing professional development in advanced AI domains will strengthen candidacy 
• 12+ years of experience in advanced analytics, AI engineering, or related technology fields, with at least 3–5 years in a consulting leadership role. 
• Proven track record of leading large-scale AI solution implementations for enterprise clients and managing multi-million-dollar programs or portfolios.

The opportunity

The Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team works with businesses and finance teams to address the risks of accounting, financial reporting and regulatory issues. Legal & Compliance

• Legal Liaison: Collaborate with external maritime counsel, surveyors, and NVOCC underwriters on high-value, complex, or litigated claims.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all claims and operational practices comply with international trade laws and local port/customs regulations.

Reporting & Analytics

• Database Management: Maintain accurate claims systems, tracking reserves, paid claims, and recovery ratios.

Requirements:

• 3 to 8 years of dedicated experience in marine cargo claims, P&I (Protection & Indemnity), or insurance management within a freight forwarding or NVOCC environment.
