Role Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years experience in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, HealthTech, MedTech, Product Development, Clinical Engineering or related disciplines with relevant experience in engineering, prototyping, product development or healthcare innovation related work.
• Strong knowledge and experience in clinical workflows, particularly in hospitals, nursing homes, home-based care, palliative care settings and other community care settings.
• Hands-on experience in clinical validation studies, including patient needs assessment and usability testing, is highly advantageous.
• Possess understanding of healthcare innovation concepts (e.g., medtech / healthtech development, prototyping, care automation, commercialisation, health economics and value capture).

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and support the design, coordination, and execution of Low Voltage (LT), Switchgear and High Voltage (HV) systems for construction and infrastructure projects.

The role ensures all engineering works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design review and implementation of LT/HV electrical systems and switchgear
• Review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load calculations and protection coordination
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with Singapore standards (EMA, SS, IEC) and project requirements
• Support technical evaluation of equipment, vendors and subcontractors
• Mentor junior engineers and support capability development

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in M&E / construction projects
• Strong hands-on experience in LT, HV systems and switchgear
• Familiar with testing and commissioning processes
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
