The AI & Data Division (AIDD), creates powerful, customer-focused search, recommendation, data science, advertising, marketing price, and inventory optimization solutions to a variety of businesses in Rakuten group.  As part of AIDD, AILab builds new solutions that have the potential to transform how users interact with Rakuten service. We are building the next generation of AI-powered shopping experiences — autonomous agents that search, compare, reason, and transact on behalf of users. As Technical project manager for Agent Development, you will ensure that cross-functional teams deliver on time, within scope, and at quality.  

Core responsibilities 

Program planning & execution 

• Build and maintain master program plans covering all workstreams: model development, API integrations, front-end, QA, and data pipelines 

• Define milestones, dependencies, and critical path across multiple concurrent agent projects 

• Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and quarterly planning ceremonies across engineering and ML teams 

• Track and report program status, risks, and blockers to leadership on a weekly cadence 

Delivery management 

• Budget management 

• Drive on-time delivery of agent features 

• Identify scope creep early and facilitate trade-off decisions with product and engineering leads 

• Manage release schedules, coordinate UAT, and own go-live checklists for each agent launch 

• Maintain a risk register and ensure mitigation plans are in place and actioned 

Process & tooling 

• Prepare and present program dashboards, steering committee updates, and executive briefings 

• Facilitate alignment meetings, decision logs, and RACI documentation to keep accountability clear 

• Define and continuously improve PM processes, templates, and ways of working for the agent development team 

• Own the team's project management tooling (Jira, Confluence, or equivalent) — structure boards, set up workflows, and ensure hygiene 

• Conduct retrospectives and translate learnings into process improvements 

Required qualifications 

• 5+ years of technical program or project management experience, delivering large-scale software products 

• Strong command of project management fundamentals: work breakdown structures, dependency mapping, critical path analysis, risk management, and stakeholder reporting 

• Experience managing programs or projects that involve API integrations, data pipelines, or ML model deployments 

• Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at producing clear status reports and exec summaries 

• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Linear, Confluence, or similar) 

Nice to have 

• Familiarity with LLM or AI agent development cycles — enough to ask the right questions and spot risks 

• Experience running programs across both agile and waterfall workstreams simultaneously

Job Description

Reporting to Front Office Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible to:

Operations

• To ensure that all VIP arrival rooms are checked, and amenities are replenished in the rooms prior to the guest’s arrival.
• To welcome and bid farewell to all VIP guests.
• To develop and maintain close business contacts with house guests and to provide personalized service whenever possible.
• Attend to guests’ requests and thoroughly investigate guest complaints.
• Ensure effective communication via daily briefing, weekly update and monthly brainstorming within the department.

Guest Service

• Provide guests with access to hotel services, forward in-room meal requests, and ensure that mail, faxes and packages are delivered in a timely manner.
• To deal with irate guests and find ways to resolve issues to the guests’ satisfaction.
• To serve as concierges, assisting guests with ground transportation, restaurant or entertainment reservations, and providing other information about the locale

Pre-requisities:

1. Singaporean or PRs only.

2. Must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays.

•Experience in Core Java, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Oracle DB, Oracle Weblogic, SRS. Must have an understanding of Junit, PMD Tools and SonarCube.

•Familiar with ISO20022 message standards and domestic payment schemes such as MEPS+

•Experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration Management technologies.

•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

•Prior experience in Production Support area (Incident, Problem management). Able to provide troubleshooting support for the issue related to the PayCIS. 6

Role:

The Project Manager will be a critical member of the team responsible for the delivery of technology solutions utilizing C#/ASP .NET technology or other similar system architecture. He/she will be involved in full SDLC cycle of the system with experience in system integration.

To succeed in this role, you must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude towards learning technical, business and industry concepts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Able to grasp and understand business domain knowledge within a short timeframe.

Plan, script, execute, prepare reports and statistics, communicate to users, and resolve all issues raised by users during UAT and operations.

Management and coordination with external partners and vendors

Management and lead a team to support the project

Communicate to internal team and external users for all clarifications

Conduct walk through and clarification training sessions with external users where applicable

Prepare and update documentations and reports where required

Identify system or data deficiencies and discrepancies, and recommends appropriate improvements and changes.

Job Knowledge/Skills

At least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent. Candidates with a relevant IT diploma may also apply.

Preferably with experience in RFID systems and related technologies.

CITPM and/or PMP certification

Experience in designing and implementing C#, ASP.NET systems using OO related concepts in N-Tier architecture will be advantageous

5 years of experience in Project Management of medium or large scale projects

Experience in project delivery in systems integration

Knowledge of Biometrics, multi-media analytics, access control, robotics is a plus

Good written and verbal communication skills is required

Good management of time and able to set and adjust priorities for tasks according to changes in project activities.

Versatile and able to adapt readily & effectively to unexpected or changing conditions.
