This is a hands-on marine repair technician role focused mainly on electrical and electronics work.

You will be doing fault-finding, repair, troubleshooting, servicing, and installation work on electrical and electronic systems on boats, yachts, and vessels.

This role is for someone who has already done real hands-on repair and troubleshooting work. We are not looking for drafting, documentation, coordination, support-only, or trainee profiles.

Most of the work is on-site, not in an air-con office. You need to be okay going to marinas, boats, yachts, vessels, and customer sites to get the job done.

Some jobs are under the sun. Some jobs are hot, greasy, oily, and done in tighter spaces depending on the vessel and the work area. If you are looking for clean indoor air-con work, this role is not for you.

Most of the work is electrical and electronics. There is also some mechanical work involved. If you are stronger in electrical and electronics work and less familiar with the mechanical side, training can be provided for that part of the role.

Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Overtime is paid when required, but this is not a frequent overtime role. Most work is expected to be completed within normal working hours.

In the current market, more customers may choose to repair existing equipment instead of buying new equipment. Because of that, we are looking for a technician who can support repair, troubleshooting, and service work on the ground.

QAQC technician

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection of raw materials,in-process products, and finished goods

• Perform testing according to standard procedures(e.g., physical, chemical, membrane tests) and record and analyze test dataaccurately
