KoolLogix is a Singapore emerging enterprise that provides thermal management solutions for IT and Data Centre applications. The company is growing its talent pool by recruiting technical resources to support its aspiring plan in innovative engineering solutions.
This role requires a highly self-motivated individual who is well organized and can manage time effectively. The role requires the talent to perform the following duties:
Site Supervision and Coordination
• Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed according to project specifications, plans, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of work on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of work and identify potential issues.
Communication and Reporting
• Maintain effective communication with the Project Engineer, customer representatives, and subcontractors.
• Provide regular updates on site progress, issues, and concerns to the Project Engineer.
• Assist the Project Engineer in preparing progress reports and other project documentation.
Safety and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site safety policies, and customer safety requirements.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks for site personnel.
• Report any safety incidents or concerns to the Project Engineer and relevant parties.
Material and Equipment Management
• Assist the Project Engineer in tracking and managing materials and equipment on site.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and equipment to prevent damage or loss.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Quality Assurance and Control
• Assist the Project Engineer in implementing quality control measures and ensuring that all work is performed according to established standards.
• Conduct site inspections and tests to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in managing the testing and commissioning process and ensure proper documentation of test results and customer acceptance.
Site Closure and Handover
• Coordinate with the Project Engineer and other stakeholders in completing the project handover process.
• Assist in conducting site walkthroughs with customer representatives and addressing any outstanding issues.
• Participate in the Project Closure Meeting to review lessons learned and identify areas for improvement in future projects.
Requirement
Other requirements:
Higher NITEC in Control/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required.
Strong planning, coordination & reporting skills.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, specifically thermodynamics & fluid mechanics an added advantage.
Prior experience working in data center an added advantage.
Prior experience in customer engagement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and external partners.
Strong analytical skills, systemic thinking, and reasoning, with an attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.
Must be flexible and able to respond to service calls for criticalissues during, and beyond, working hours.
Qualification:
WSQ Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry - WSHM-CI, formerly BCSS.
WSQ Manage Work at Height Course (MWAH).
Possession of a Class 3 license is a must.
