Requirements

• 1–2 years of IT Service Desk experience (3–5+ years for senior level consideration)

• Basic understanding of Unix or Linux environments is advantageous
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar enterprise ITSM platforms

You will manage Japan employee benefits and leave administration, ensuring compliance with Japanese labor laws and internal policies. You will maintain accurate HRIS and vendor data and serve as the operational contact for benefits and leave vendors.

Responsibilities

• Administer Japan employee benefits programs including social insurance, dependent enrollment, retirement, and supplementary benefits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Manage leave administration programs covering statutory leaves and complex, sensitive leave cases aligned with Japanese labor laws and company policies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data across HRIS and vendor systems to support benefits and leave operations
• Serve as the primary operational liaison with Japan benefits and leave vendors to coordinate service delivery and resolve issues
• Communicate effectively in Japanese with employees to facilitate benefits and leave administration processes

Required competencies and certifications

• Japanese language capability for effective communication with Japanese employees and stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree with minimum 1 year or diploma with 3 years of experience administering Japan benefits and leave programs
