Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our logistics operations. This role is vital for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive repair, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of all mechanical assets. We are looking for a proactive professional who can minimize equipment downtime and ensure all vehicles meet the stringent standards required for heavy-duty logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repair: Execute routine preventive maintenance and complex mechanical repairs on prime movers, trailers, and heavy forklifts to ensure peak operational readiness.
• LTA Compliance: Schedule and manage periodic inspections required by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to ensure all vehicles remain road-legal and compliant with national standards.
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults in heavy machinery and implement effective solutions.
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Maintain and repair hydraulic lifting systems and pneumatic braking components essential for logistics equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous service logs, inspection reports, and spare part inventory records to ensure full traceability of all maintenance activities.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Uphold strict Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards within the workshop and ensure all tools and equipment are handled safely.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within the logistics or heavy vehicle industry.
• Technical Qualification: NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) inspection requirements and industrial safety protocols.
• Technical Skill: Proficiency in repairing heavy-duty diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor in a workshop environment, including lifting heavy components and working in various physical positions.

Depending on the allocated section (Inpatient / Outpatient / National Centre for Infectious Diseases / Quality Control/Emergency Pharmacy), you will assist the pharmacists in prescription processing, to ensure accuracy and targeted waiting times are met. You will also assist the pharmacist-in-charge in planning and facilitating pharmacy operations.

The duties include :

• Dispensing of medication
• Medication counselling
• Prescription interventions

• Financial Counselling (e.g Medisave / CHAS / insurance etc)

The Requirements
- Local Polytechnic Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science OR WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Pharmacy Support) OR non-SPC registrable Pharmacy Degree ONLY

- For Emergency Pharmacy, candidate must be comfortable with 2 rotating shift (PM and Night shift)

a. 2-3 yrs experience in a manufacturing environment - knowledge of packaging experience is a plus

b.Knowledge of PLC(Omron is a must), other PLC brand is a plus

c. Ability to understand and debug OMRON PLC programe

d. Strong knowledge in electrical trouble shooting skills set

e. Ability to interpret and understand electrical schematics/single line programe

f. Ability to work 12 hrs rotation shift : 730 to 730

Field Technicians

• Field Staff Work Hours Full Time: Monday to Saturday (flexibility to work every Saturday is required), excluding public holidays (5 days work).
• Working hours: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM/5:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Lunch Break: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, subject to variation depending on operational requirements.
• Trapping and surveillance and post trapping species identification
• Arrange for vehicle logistics including maintenance, servicing, and regular checks of release and transport van.
• Follow a schedule of field release of Verily reared mosquitoes at release sites.
• Conduct community engagement with residents around mosquito field trials, following the guidelines of Verily.
• This role involves a lot of walking and doing adhoc tasks.
• A valid (class 3) driving license is preferred for this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
• Carry out pest control treatments using approved methods, including chemicals, baits, and traps
• Handle and apply pesticides safely in accordance with company procedures and regulatory guidelines
• Educate clients on pest prevention methods and proper sanitation practices

Able to fit ophthalmic lenses on spectacle frame - type rimless, rimlon and full frame. Experience in operating Nidek and MEI grinding machine is a must. understand and able to do color tint on lenses will be added advantage. Need to work overtime and require to do minor repair of machine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on performing inspection, calibration, survey and servicing of the equipment onboard ships.
