The Role: Investment Advisor

We are seeking an Investment Advisor to support our mandate for sustainable investments with a focus on the ocean. You will source, evaluate, and manage direct investments in early-stage startups (VC) and growth-stage companies (PE), as well as funds, specifically within our focus areas: ocean, built environment and logistics and supply chain.

Unlike a traditional fund, you will work directly for the CEO, helping to manage a permanent capital vehicle with a multi-decade horizon.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Sourcing & Execution

• Source investment leads in early-stage companies and funds in Southeast Asia aligned with Sedar Properties.
• Conduct in depth due diligence on potential investments, including the review of financial models (DCF, LBO, project finance for nature-based solutions), business plans and legal documents.
• Determine the most appropriate financial instrument and legal structure for each investment, balancing risk, return, and impact objectives.
• Prepare investment memorandums for the CEO.
• Manage relationships with co-investors, founders and GPs.

2. Operational Value Creation

• Actively support portfolio companies with fundraising, finance, business improvement, organisational management and other aspects.
• Work closely with founders to help them professionalize operations, implement financial controls, and scale sustainably, with the objective of achieving a successful exit.

3. "Blue Economy" & Ocean Focus

• Champion Sedar Properties passion for the ocean by identifying investments and opportunities that support ocean protection, restoration, decarbonisation etc, through ecosystem building and networking.
• Support partnerships with regional and global Ocean conservation organisations.

4. Regional Strategy

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Education: Masters Degree (MBA, MSc Finance, Masters in Environmental Economics, or similar).
• Experience: Minimum 12-15 years combining: (1) direct investment experience in VC/PE growth in Southeast Asia, and (2) operational experience inside a start-up (founder, COO, CFO, or head of ops) managing legal, finance, or business improvement. Additional banking and consulting experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Expert in financial modelling, due diligence, and financial instruments, as well as business strategy.
• Regional: Proven track record of working in Southeast Asia at least 5 years, with a network across multiple countries.
• Language: Basic knowledge of a regional language is a plus.
• Passion for the Ocean: Verifiable commitment – investment or operational experience in blue economy, circular economy or marine conservation.

Advise clients on wealth management and growth strategies:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our team at ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and serving as a key point of contact for our automotive client. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and customer satisfaction of our automotive services.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers via phone, email, online platforms, and face-to-face to deliver professional and attentive service
• Coordinate repair and maintenance scheduling to ensure timely and seamless service delivery
• Troubleshoot customer issues by analyzing concerns and providing effective solutions or escalating complex cases
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, warranty claims, and payments for operational transparency
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and service efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively
• Continuously update automotive product knowledge to provide accurate and reliable information to customers
• Support ad-hoc operational duties to maintain smooth workshop functioning

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in the hospitality/customer service industry
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
• Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated by effective listening, empathy, and response to customer needs
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills applied to handle diverse customer queries
• Adaptable and flexible with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to upholding the company’s brand image
• Hold a valid Class 3 Driving License
• Willingness to work a 5.5-day week (Mon–Fri: 8am–5pm, Sat: 8am–12pm)

Job Description:

As a Bancassurance Advisor, you can expect to embark on an exciting and very rewarding careertrack with an attractive remuneration scheme.

• Providing accurate financial advisory to customers as an individual contributor or should you do well as an individual contributor, you may be selected to advance your milestone as a team manager whose responsibility is to manage and lead a team of Bancassurance Advisors.

• Provide accurate financial advisory services to existing bank customers through referrals from privilege banking offshore channels

• Drive insurance sales in the respective segments in which you will be supporting

• Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to the Bank’s internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Business, or related fields.

• At least 5 years of insurance sales experience 

• Candidates with proven track records in sales performance and client engagement are prioritized   

• CMFAS certifications (Modules 5, 9, 9A, HI) are preferred

You will work closely with customers to understand their hair needs and recommend suitable products while maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation. You will also be in charge of technical wig styling and daily store operations to help achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs, recommend and sell hair wigs and hair care products to maximize client satisfaction
• Respond promptly to customer questions and resolve complaints to maintain positive customer relationships
• Maintain the store’s visual appearance by checking and styling wigs on display to attract customers
• Cut and style newly arrived wigs to prepare them for sale and display
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on cutting, repairing, and styling wigs to ensure product quality
• Perform daily in-store operations including cleaning, stock-taking, managing appointments, and reducing stock loss to maintain smooth store functioning
• Manage stock by keying in new inventory and transferring stock as needed to ensure accurate inventory control
• Create styled wig presentations for social media platforms to promote products and increase brand visibility
• Support the introduction of new services such as scalp care and hair care treatments to expand store offerings
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete other assigned duties that support store goals

As the Solution Advisor (SA) or Pre-sales Advisor or Expert for SAP Business Data Cloud, you will be the go-to Data & AI solution specialist for the sales team. You will use your deep expertise in data platforms, analytics, and AI to support the entire sales cycle — from opportunity identification through deal closure, be focused with adoption/ consumption mindset and post-sale expansion.

You will help customers modernize their data platforms, analytics and AI capabilities using SAP Business Data Cloud and expand their SAP footprint to maximize business value.

· Provide deep Data & AI solution expertise to support new sales and adoption for key customers using SAP Business Data Cloud (Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Databricks, SAP HANA Cloud, Intelligent Apps & Data Products & Open Data Ecosystem Partners)

· Deliver standard and customized demonstrations showing how customers can unlock business value from their data using analytics, data products and AI

· Support Account Teams with data-driven solution presentations, workshops and demos to identify, qualify and progress opportunities

· Lead and drive high-impact customer engagements: executive briefings, technical workshops, architecture reviews, RFP responses, customized demos, and multi-stakeholder proofs-of-concept.

· Evaluate data and analytics maturity, architecture and use cases to determine where to invest in opportunities

· Establish yourself as a Data & AI thought leader within the account team and contribute to account strategy

· Collaborate with Sales, Partners and Marketing to build differentiated Data & AI value propositions

· Conduct technical and business dry-runs for strategic data platform and AI engagements

· Transition successful opportunities to implementation partners and SAP Services with clear solution designs

· Engage customers continuously to expand adoption of SAP Business Data Cloud and support renewals/ upsells

· You will work with partners (Global SAP Partners & Niche service partners) with complimentary capabilities to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers

· Proactively author and distribute thought leadership materials—such as articles, case studies, and best practice guides—demonstrating innovative uses cased within SAP Business Data Cloud and broader Data & AI domain knowledge. Share insights with the extended team to foster continuous learning, encourage the adoption of proven strategies across the Data & AI community of experts within SAP.

What you bring:

· Professional experience in enterprise software, cloud platforms, data, analytics or AI

· 15+ years of experience in SAP Data & Analytics or cloud solution (Databricks, Snowflake, Google, AWS, Azure, Palantir, etc.) advisory OR equivalent solution(s)

· Working knowledge of:

o Cloud & SaaS / PaaS platforms

o Data warehousing, engineering, analytics and AI/ ML

o Modern data and AI architectures

· Experience with or exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Databricks, S/4HANA or BW is highly desirable

· Recognized as a data, analytics or solution expert with a track record of supporting customer success

· Strong ability to build compelling data-to-value stories

· Ability to understand customer business challenges and map them to data, analytics and AI solutions

· Strong executive presence across CIO/ CDO/ CDIOs and CEOs/ CFOs /Senior Management

· High energy and passion for customer engagement
