Summary:

The primary function of the incumbent is to ensure that direct materials are planned and procured to meet the production schedule, while optimizing the inventory levels on site.

This position support both production and technology transfer. Job incumbent will work closely with a cross-functional team to that to ensure material readiness from both systems (Supply Chain) and delivery perspective.

Responsibilities: 

• Own and maintain material planning and supplier master data in the ERP system. (Item Master, Vendor Master, Planning Records, Bill of Materials, MRP, Purchase Orders, etc.)
• Reviews and analyzes the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) and releases purchase order requisitions or adjusts purchase order deliveries as needed to meet the production schedule.
• Analyzes raw material lead times, safety stock levels, and inventory turns to maintain inventories at levels consistent with company objectives to support production requirements while optimizing inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance of all Supply Chain and Purchasing operations with all relevant cGMP, regulatory requirement and corporate policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Provides raw material forecast data and support profit plan setting.
• Lead and drive supply chain initiatives and projects at site level via the change management process as required 
• Identify, develop, and implement improved supply chain practices to meet changing business environments.
• Work with process COEs and IT on systems and business process improvement.
• Develop and maintain relevant site level SOPs.
• Analyze supplier performance and supply chain risk to develop risk mitigation plan.
• Support Internal and External Audits as required.

About You:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning and scheduling, and supply chain management in pharmaceutical industry. 
• Experience in SAP or other MRP systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across departments. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plans for production which includes releasing of work orders and ensuring on-time delivery of shipments based on customer requirements
• Works closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure on-time receipt, delivery of materials and finished goods shipments
• Monitors and co-ordinates on material shortages, expediting and ensuring material availability to support production plan
• Manages spares planning support and ensure timely delivery of spares to distribution centre
• Drives spares repair material planning and optimize the materials needed to support the spares replenishment program
• Drives and minimize excess and obsolescence inventory
• Assists in developing, maintaining and improving existing processes, procedures and key performance metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Technical Engineering / Business / Supply Chain
• Minimum 2 years of related industry experience in manufacturing and production planningKnowledge of work order management and understanding of Bill of Material
  Proficient in an ERP system, preferably SAP system (PP module) with good knowledge of supply chain, materials flow concepts and production planning reporting/metrics
  Experience in low volume high mix (preferably equipment manufacturing) and DFT/pull manufacturing environment is a plus

KEY ROLE(S), RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and road map in alignment with company goals and business objectives
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather and define project requirements, scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria
• Prioritise the product backlog and manage the entire product lifecycle from conceptualisation to post-launch optimization
• Break down complex requirements into actionable engineering tasks, set timeframes, estimate timelines with engineering teams, and establish detailed project plans
• Monitor project progress, identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues promptly

• Plan and write release notes and newsletters for product updates, and stay current with industry trends through market research and competitor analysis
• Utilise project management tools to track work hours, plan execution, and monitor expenditures
• Facilitate technical knowledge sharing between team members and provide user support, ensuring queries and issues are addressed promptly
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and executing necessary legal paperwork including contracts and terms of agreement

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Is degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a relevant field
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar role within fintech, financial services, or
  technology-driven companies
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product lifecycle and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products
• Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, product management principles, and software development lifecycle LSDLCM
• Proficient in analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Statsig, PostHog) and A/B testing tools
• Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Certification in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus
