Responsibilities and Duties

Global Office IT Support

• Provide senior-level IT support for global offices, ensuring efficient and smooth IT operations across all locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues, minimising downtime and disruptions.
• Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle maintenance of IT equipment across office environments.

System Administration & User Management

• Administer user accounts, permissions, and Microsoft 365 services, ensuring seamless access and collaboration tools for all employees.
• Manage IT onboarding and offboarding procedures, providing efficient setups and deactivation of access.
• Maintain and update an accurate inventory of IT assets across global office locations.

Escalation & Leadership

• Act as the primary escalation point for complex IT-related issues, ensuring quick resolution for regional teams.
• Develop and implement IT support standards, documentation, and best practices across regions.

Project Management & Infrastructure Support

• Lead and support infrastructure projects, including office expansions, system upgrades, and global IT rollouts.
• Collaborate with external vendors to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.

System Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor IT systems’ performance and reliability, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
• Contribute to ongoing digitalisation efforts, enhancing system capabilities and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or regional role.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to support cross-cultural and cross-regional teams.
• Highly organised, self-driven, and capable of managing IT operations across multiple time zones.
• Open to providing 24/7 IT support as required.

JOB SUMMARY

Manufacturing Engineer (Support) will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing; integrated, production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control within the production site. The Engineer will adopt as its goals profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Project leader – lead and implement projects that will eliminate waste, through the standard Manufacturing Engineering process
o    This will include but is not limited to: Complex Process Simulation, Operations Research and Business Model Cost Analysis
·         Verify Time standards prepared within ME Team
·         Update and report key Manufacturing Engineering metrics for assigned customer or area
·         Drive key process mapping activities within the assigned customer or area
·         Drive the standardization SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations
·         Prepare quotes for proposed projects within the assigned customer or area
·         Drive process related activities for New Product Introduction.
·         Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Manufacturing Engineering team
·         Support and/or maintain all lower level Manufacturing Engineering essential duties and responsibilities
·         Insure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with the global, regional and site direction
·         Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity in order to support process improvement through the organization

·         Key Requirements:

The Technology & Systems Department for Vantage Data Centres is very hands on. In most cases, we specify, purchase, configure and maintain all networking and server hardware. We also work closely with partner VARs to learn about the latest technology changes so we can make informed purchase decisions. The IT department is always looking for ways to strike the best balance between technology, performance and cost.  

Vantage Technology & Systems also participates in designing each of our new data centre building’s networking infrastructure, including but not limited to: diverse pathways connecting to carriers, meet-me room (MMR) hosting (rack, cabs, ladders, cross connect panels…), wireless AP coverage, etc. If you like getting your hands dirty and helping to design, build and maintain IT infrastructure in a modern data centre, then come work at Vantage. Essential Job Functions 

•  To assist with updating and maintaining the ticketing system based on functional and business requirements.  

• To provide telephone, email and field support to internal customers and colleagues providing an excellent level of service to meet Vantage’s SLA. Calls must be logged, prioritised and actioned via the IT ticket system. 

• To ensure that all associated tickets are updated in a timely manner so that the status of logged calls can be monitored, and problem reporting can be done effectively.  

• To be able to identify trends and escalate them to other global team members as well as be proactive in identifying areas for improvement.  

• Ability to identify and translate common escalated issues into employee self-service guide and platform. 

• To assist in the development of the Service Desk procedures and creation of material knowledge base articles

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• Ability to support a Hybrid Cloud Environment. Consisting of Active Directory, Azure and Office 365. 

• Experience working with Android and IOS phones. 

• Excellent English written and oral communication skills. 

• Some travel is expected in the region.

• 4-6 years’ experience working in a global corporate end users/service desk environment in a matrix reporting environment support global user.

Required competencies and certifications

• Check and submit monthly invoices (low volume) to Finance and ensure they pay the invoicely timely.
• Handle and run external errands, including procurement and other logistical tasks, on an as-needed basis (approximately 1-2 times per month).
• Plan and coordinate team-building activities for 30 team members oncce every 2 or 3 months.
• Monitor office supplies inventory, including purchasing and replenishing essential items such as office equipment, stationery, and pantry supplies when they are low.
• Liaise with external vendors for service deliveries, including aircon, courier (low volume), monthly office's water supply.
• Maintain and update petty cash records using Excel, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
