Job Summary

Lead front-of-house operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences, manage staff, and ensure smooth restaurant service while upholding brand values and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction
• Greet and engage guests to deliver personalized and welcoming experiences
• Manage, train, and schedule front-of-house staff to optimize team performance
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain quality control and ensure timely service delivery
• Resolve guest complaints and feedback professionally and proactively to enhance satisfaction
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to maintain stock and cost control
• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards to comply with regulations and ensure a safe environment
• Drive sales and support marketing initiatives to attract and retain clientele
• Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports to inform management decisions
• Uphold and promote the restaurant’s brand image and core values consistently

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar hospitality leadership role
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead teams and interact with customers
• Ability to lead and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment to achieve operational goals
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with restaurant management software to support operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

·      Liaise with hotel, food caterers, and transportation vendors to secure accommodations, meal sessions, and transport for programme participants.

·      Liaise internally with trainers and school administrators to ensure the scheduled program is up to date.

·      Act as the first point of contact for vendors, invited guest speakers, and participants, and attend to their inquiries and requests before and during the program.

·      Manage and be responsible for the week-long day-to-day running of the hackathon segment in the program.

Requirements:

·      Diploma or equivalent in the humanities or social sciences discipline.

·      2 to 3 years of full-time event/ project management experience preferred.

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications.

·      Experience in the design of marketing materials.

·      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, academics, and industry partners from diverse SEA cultural backgrounds.

·      Meticulous attention to detail, especially in managing schedules, bookings, and participants' information.

·      Any other tasks related to event management and coordination that may be assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Job Summary

Lead and manage workplace safety and health (WSH) systems, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and continuous improvement. Oversee safety training, risk assessments, incident investigations, and emergency response to foster a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Review and revise the Safety Management System to drive continual improvement and compliance.
• Establish, maintain, and update Safe Work Procedures and Risk Assessments for contractors and suppliers using a 5x5 risk matrix.
• Conduct safety training aligned with Safe Work Procedures and Risk Assessments to enhance workforce safety awareness.
• Ensure comprehensive risk assessments for all work activities are conducted, reviewed, and updated with actionable recommendations.
• Organize and lead monthly WSH Committee Meetings and prepare safety reports including safety indices to track performance.
• Enforce house rules among all stakeholders and take corrective actions for non-compliance to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to identify and eliminate security, safety, health, and environmental hazards.
• Develop, review, and improve Workplace Safety and Health procedures, measures, and policies in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Ensure legal compliance with all statutory safety and environmental regulations and oversee timely submission of mandatory documents.
• Monitor and enhance the company’s BizSafe certification, safety management system, safety manual, and client safety procedures.
• Conduct investigations into WSH infringements and industrial accidents, recommending remedial actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented to address safety issues.
• Manage all incident reporting and investigations to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Facilitate and conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance with BizSafe standards.
• Lead emergency response efforts, manage project safety personnel, and oversee site WSH matters for the company and subcontractors.
• Supervise and provide operational guidance to security personnel to maintain site safety and security.
• Train and guide the Site Emergency Response Team (SERT) and organize emergency drills to ensure preparedness.
• Oversee the management and maintenance of the company’s fire alarm and protection systems.
• Regularly audit equipment, machinery, and assets to ensure they are in safe working condition and equipped with necessary safety protections.
• Assess and analyze risks associated with new or second-hand equipment and machinery purchases, providing safety recommendations.
• Implement safety campaigns to promote and embed a strong safety culture across the organization.
• Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB, and other relevant authorities on all WSH matters to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to support workplace safety and health objectives.

• MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer
• MOM registered Fire Safety Manager

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in occupational health and safety or related fields
