Key Responsibilities

Teaching Duties:

· Teach English Literature and related subjects (36 periods/week).

· Deliver inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB MYP/DP frameworks and subject goals.

· Collaborate with Student Support to enrich learning and differentiate instruction based on student needs.

· Promote culturally and linguistically responsive teaching.

Non-Teaching Duties:

· Follow school policies and expectations.

· Participate in school events, field trips, meetings, and training outside regular hours.

· Supervise students during breaks and other non-classroom times.

· Lead or support a co-curricular activity (CCA).

· Provide class cover when needed and complete other assigned duties.

· Join school committees or improvement initiatives.

· Serve as a homeroom teacher if assigned.

· Build strong relationships with students and parents.

· Foster positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues.

· Represent the school positively in the wider community.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in English Literature.

· 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.

· Strong curriculum planning, teamwork, and communication skills.

· IB training or experience is an advantage.

Teacher and Curriculum Specialist (Enrichment Centre)

Subject: English language / Maths / Sciences (Preferably can teach at least two subjects)
Location: Bukit Timah Plaza, Century Square, Oasis Terraces, Parkway Centre, Thomson Plaza (Discuss the location during the interview but you will need to travel to multiple Centres when needed) 
Working days and time: Tuesday to Saturdays [Must be comfortable working 4 weekdays (2 early weekdays 10am-7pm, 2 late weekdays 12.30pm-9.30pm) and 1 weekend (8am-6pm)]
Salary: $3500 - $5000

Job Description

• Deliver lessons of up to 10 – 12 classes per week. 
• Display classroom delivery skills aligned to centre’s suggested methodology and housestyle.
• Effectively utilise teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that will enhance students’ learning experience.
• Mark and grade students’ assignments with value-added feedback and ensure they are returned to students by the next lesson.
• Perform required administrative responsibilities efficiently (attendance taking, checking students’ files etc)•
• Able to arrange “catch-ups” for students who missed any lessons when there are no available “make-up” classes for them to join.
• Attempt to ensure that students are consistently making reasonable progress in the programme; every student matters. 
• Connect to students’ parents through regular written and/or verbal feedback to parents on the progress of the students as well as solutions/suggestions for parents on how they can partner with you to help the child at home.
• Work together with the customer service team to provide all stakeholders with a positive customer experience and strive to minimise the withdrawal rate of classes assigned.
• Attend level meetings/subject sharing sessions organised by the Company when required, to keep abreast of curriculum expectations.
• Attend observation sessions and/or co-teaching sessions as arranged by the Company for training purposes. 
• Participate in level meetings/subject-sharing sessions when required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree holder and above or equivalent
• Familiar with the latest MOE syllabus
• Comfortable to use Zoom and online portal
• 2 to 3 years of teaching experience
• Able to commit long-term (at least one full academic year)

Job Description

A. Student Care

• Support the daily operations of the centre, including both administrative and teaching duties. 
• Ensure customer care experience for both prospective and existing clientele (from handling enquiries and collecting payments). 
• Ensure the overall safety of the learning environment•
• Prepare progress reports for students on a termly basis

B. Holistic Enrichment

• Prepare materials and deliver enrichment lessons for students on designated days. 
• Plan and facilitate special events and/or excursions during MOE-scheduled school holidays. 

C. Academic Teaching

• Deliver lessons for assigned classes (in-house curriculum provided). 
• Effectively utilise teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment. 
• Mark and grade students’ assignments with value-added feedback. 
• Perform required classroom administration responsibilities. 
• Connect with students' parents through regular written and/or verbal feedback. 
• Participate in level meetings/subject-sharing sessions

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to teach one of the subjects from P1 to P6 (English language / Mathematics / Science). 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 
• Familiar with latest MOE syllabus. 
• At least 2-3 years of teaching experience. 
• Have experience teaching in group settings (of between 4 to 12 students).
