Job requirements

• Hands-on quality assurance exposure - test automation, release support or regression testing - as the role spans both reliability and quality.

Job Descriptions

• Handle full spectrum of project administration and oversee daily administrative tasks at the site office.
• Conduct regular visit to the public, residents, occupiers in the vicinity and proximity of the works on the impact of the construction activities before each construction stage.
• Manage feedback and complaints from the public tactfully and render full support on all press and public relations matters related to the Contract.
• Arrange and attend meetings on public relation matters with project team where necessary.
• Promote and maintain a good relationship with the public before and during the full period of construction.
• Establish a filing system and maintain thorough documentation for all files and correspondence pertaining to the project.
• Assist and support Site Manager/ Project Manager on any ad-hoc duties.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE “A” Level or Diploma in a relevant discipline
• At least 1 years' working experience as a relevant experience in the construction industry
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good client facing with strong people orientation ability to build and develop positive relations with internal and external parties

Monitor and coordinate construction work to ensure it is carried out according to plans and specifications.

Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure workers follow instructions.

Monitor schedules, report progress, and help ensure deadlines are achieved.

Keep daily reports, attendance records, work progress updates, and inspection records.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Supervise Site Operations: Oversee daily work on-site, managing both sub-contractors and in-house workers to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.

Ensure Safety Compliance: Make sure all safety protocols are followed, and all workers comply with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

Coordinate the Project: Work closely with the project manager and other teams to keep the project on track and meet deadlines.

Monitor Work Quality: Check the quality of work and ensure it meets the project specifications and industry standards.

Manage Workers: Provide clear instructions to workers, resolve issues, and ensure resources are used effectively.

Report Progress: Keep accurate records of daily activities, material usage, and site conditions. Report progress to the project manager.

Ensure Timely Completion: Manage the work schedule to avoid delays and ensure work is finished on time.

Lead Toolbox Meetings: Conduct daily meetings to discuss work priorities, safety, and any updates with the team.

Conduct Site Inspections: Regularly inspect the site to ensure work follows the construction plans and report any issues.

Coordinate with Contractors: Work with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Solve Problems: Address and resolve any issues that arise on-site, such as delays or safety concerns.

Maintain Equipment: Ensure all equipment and tools are in good condition and report any problems to management.

Manage Subcontractors: Oversee subcontractors’ work to make sure it meets the project’s standards and deadlines.

Communicate with Clients: Keep clients and stakeholders updated on progress and address any concerns they may have.

Requirements:

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in a supervisory role.

Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to solve problems and manage a team effectively.

Knowledge: Experience in structural steel work is a plus.

Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of working on-site.

Class 2/3 license
