• Various life-saving appliances and fire-fighting appliances must be installed, inspected, maintained, and repaired aboard ships while adhering to SOLAS and class rules.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive repair, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of all mechanical assets. We are looking for a proactive professional who can minimize equipment downtime and ensure all vehicles meet the stringent standards required for heavy-duty logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repair: Execute routine preventive maintenance and complex mechanical repairs on prime movers, trailers, and heavy forklifts to ensure peak operational readiness.
• LTA Compliance: Schedule and manage periodic inspections required by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to ensure all vehicles remain road-legal and compliant with national standards.
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults in heavy machinery and implement effective solutions.
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Maintain and repair hydraulic lifting systems and pneumatic braking components essential for logistics equipment.

Depending on the allocated section (Inpatient / Outpatient / National Centre for Infectious Diseases / Quality Control/Emergency Pharmacy), you will assist the pharmacists in prescription processing, to ensure accuracy and targeted waiting times are met. You will also assist the pharmacist-in-charge in planning and facilitating pharmacy operations.
