KeyResponsibilities

1.Shipping Operations (Core)

• Handle end-to-end shipping operations for assigned shipments
• Prepare and review shipping documents (BL, invoice, packing list, NOR, SOF, etc.)
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely execution
• Coordinate with traders, suppliers, and customers on shipment status
• Track and follow up on demurrage/despatch (DEM/DET), claims, and payments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment records

2.Shipping Agent Coordination

• Liaise with vessel agents at load/discharge ports
• Coordinate vessel nomination, berthing schedules, and port operations
• Monitor vessel movement and update relevant stakeholders
• Ensure all port formalities and documentation are properly handled
• Follow up on port disbursements and related costs

3.Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain proper filing of all shipping documents (soft & hard copy)
• Prepare shipment reports and status updates
• Ensure all data is recorded accurately in internal systems / Excel trackers
• Highlight any discrepancies, risks, or operational issues

4.Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a key contact point between internal teams (Trading, Finance) and external parties
• Provide timely updates on shipment progress and issues
• Escalate critical matters when necessary

5.Compliance & Handover Discipline

• Ensure all operations comply with company procedures and contractual terms
• Maintain clear and structured records to support transparency and handover
• Support audits and internal reviews when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Business, or related field
• Minimum X years of experience in operations / tanker operations / trading support
• Familiar with shipping documents and vessel operations
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple shipments
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Appointment slotting for prospective customers.
• Understand the applicant's requirements and provide appropriate information/advice.
• Documentation- scrutiny/checking and submission.
• Data quality of application information submission.
• Biometrics - fingerprint scanning
• Segregation of applications as per services
• Collection, handlover and deposit of cash for the day.
• Delivery of application to the mission on the same day.
• Selling value-added services required.
• Excellent communication and typing skills required ( English )
• Working experience in customer services ( 1 year , fresher also can apply )
• Flexibility in working hours
• Should be available to join immediately.
• Should be sincere and responsible towards the work.
