The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multidisciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal and sarcoma malignancies. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real-world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory seven years ago, we have established three scientific pillars — Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostics, and the CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, interpret, and present real estate trends and information for business development opportunities, client support, and internal analysis
• Compile and distribute research in the form of narratives, graphics, data summary, etc
• Analyze market statistic, generate market reports and/or collateral material based on statistical analysis conducted
• Tap into national research resources to produce standardized market reports and customized client research
• Create and analyze spreadsheets utilizing data needed to generate graphs, tables, and written analysis and make recommendations to our readers and users
• Compile statistical data specific to client or service line by translating and converting data to graphs/tables/charts
• Research coverage areas will include Singapore and other South East Asia asset classes such as residential, commercial, residential and industrial

Requirements:

• A degree in a relevant area such as Real Estate, Economics, or Business Administration would be an advantage
• 3-5 years of real estate research or related business experience
• High numeracy and adequate understanding of property and financial markets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong data software applications skills

We are looking for a cold atom physicist who:

1. Wants to be involved in research while gracefully maneuvering through the technical constraints of field deployment
2. Is excited by the prospect of working within an interdisciplinary team comprised of electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, and software engineers

• Design and development of atom interferometry based sensors
• Work in collaboration with electronics engineers and mechanical engineers to develop the system
• Research on the improvement and miniaturization of atom interferometry based sensors
• Write patents

Must have skills

• PhD in Physics, with research experience in cold atom physics
• Proficient in experimental work, better if atom-interferometry
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Nice to have skills

• Built atom interferometry based gravimeter, accelerometer, or gyroscope
• Built near-IR lasers, laser locking system, and RF electronics
• Experience in theoretical simulation of atomic systems
• Developed control systems using FPGA
